How the online realm works

Real WebSocket co-op. Your browser connects to the Emberbound VPS battle server for synchronized movement, combat, enemies, and room state.

Watch the signal. The live latency readout shows the round-trip time to the realm. Lower numbers mean a sharper response.

Share only the code. Friends do not need your device—each player opens the game in their own browser and joins the same room.
